1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and Nick Stavrou ("we"), who operates the App. If you do not agree with any term, please do not use the App.

2. The service

Anglr is a fishing diary app that lets you record fishing spots, trips, trails, catches and gear, and view weather and sea information. Some features depend on third-party services and may change or be discontinued.

Anglr is a local-first app: in the free version your diary is stored only on your device. If you uninstall the App or erase its data, that content is permanently lost. The optional Premium subscription adds cloud backup of your diary, along with other premium features.

3. Account and user responsibility

Eligibility: Anglr is not intended for users under 15 years of age (the age of digital consent in Greece). By creating an account you confirm you are at least 15 years old.
You provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account.
One account corresponds to one individual; sharing credentials is not permitted.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the App for any unlawful purpose or in breach of fishing regulations;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or to other users' accounts;
interfere with, overload or harm the operation of the service;
reproduce, copy or commercially exploit the App without permission.

5. Intellectual property and rights

The App, its software, design, logo, the name "Anglr" and all related content belong to us and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, decompile or distribute any part of the App without our prior written consent.

6. Your content

The content you create (spots, notes, trails, catches) remains yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store and display that content to you within the service. You are responsible for the content you enter.

7. Disclaimer — Safety and navigation

Anglr is not a navigation or safety tool. Maps, coordinates, depth, weather and sea data are provided for informational purposes only and may be inaccurate or unavailable. Do not rely on the App for navigation, weather forecasting or your safety at sea. Always use appropriate equipment, official sources and your own judgement. You are solely responsible for your safety and for complying with fishing rules.

8. Availability and warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the accuracy of third-party data.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence).

10. Subscriptions

The core of the App is free to use. Anglr Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly), purchased through Google Play, that adds cloud backup of your diary and the other premium features presented in the App.

Prices are shown in the App and in Google Play before any purchase. Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it in your Google Play subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancelling keeps Premium active until the end of the period already paid for.
Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policy and applicable consumer-protection law.
When your Premium access ends, the App returns to the free tier: your diary remains on your device, and your cloud backup is retained for a 90-day grace period and then deleted (see the Privacy Policy).
If subscription prices change, the change applies from a subsequent renewal and Google Play informs you in advance, as required by its rules.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Greece, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection law applicable in your country of residence.

13. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use the App after changes constitutes acceptance of them.
